This was done this past Thanksgiving at Ocean Mystique Tattoos in Virginia Beach, VA. It is the symbol used by the Autism Society of America. I got this to spread awareness of autism, and to support my little sister, who was diagnosed with autism when she was 5 years old. She knows that the image is called a tattoo, but she has no concept of what a tattoo is or the meaning behind the symbol, and that just breaks my heart. April is Autism Awareness month, so please, reblog this and help spread the word to everyone you know.
